Introduction

The Department was founded in 1999 to recruit new students for its two-year junior college program. In 2003, it was upgraded to recruit students forthe four-year technical program and the two-year junior college program wasterminated. In 2010, it established the master’s program.

The Department is the first department of landscape architecture established by a national institute of technology in Taiwan. The Department was established to cultivate students to become professional talents who have abilities for landscape planning, design and engineering practices and fit the needs of the landscape industry.
