Diversified courses planned to have students learn professional knowledge:
In addition to the program in multimedia technology and the program in smart embedded technology to enhance students’ professional knowledge and practical skills of information, the planned courses cover development of humanistic literacy, establishment of international perspectives, and development of “holistic education”. These courses enable students to have multiple learning intelligence.
Courses designed based on two major professional areas to cultivate students to have practical ability:
Program in multimedia technology: Based on basic concepts of multimedia, it focuses on the
research and development of multimedia and information technology theory and practical
technology to have students be able to integrate information theory with practical
technology.
Program in smart embedded technology: Based on basic chips and embedded circuit design, it focuses on programmable chip design and embedded system design in combination with the R&D and integration of multimedia technology to have students be able to apply wafer theory and chip circuit technology.
Cultivating students to have practical ability: Practical courses, collaborative teaching by experts from the industry, off-campus internships, and projects
Courses planned to cultivate students to have humanistic literacy:
To enhance students' humanistic literacy, social care and artistic appreciation, students are required to acquired credits for required courses in the three areas “Humanities and Arts”, “Social Science” and “Natural Science”, in addition to the “Ming Hsiu Technology and Humanity Forum”. Courses concerning psychology, philosophy and religion are also provided to inspire “students to learn positively”. The College of Humanities and Creativity also cooperates with other colleges and departments to plan for technology-related programs as well as programs in arts and humanities and English for science and technology in order to enhance humanistic literacy and international communication skills of students.

NCUT emphasizes service learning and understands its social responsibilities. By promoting care services and environmental protection activities, NCUT implements character and life education and helps teachers cultivate students to have correct values and be able to care for the society. “Friendly campus culture” is developed at NCUT to establish create a quality environment and achieve the goal of “holistic education”.
