Degree Requirements
1. Each general student at the Institute shall satisfy the minimum graduation conditions as follows:
(1). Each student must have at least one thesis published in (or accepted by) a SCI/SCIE/SSCI international journal during his/her study.
In addition, the student shall complete at least two of the following results: A. Having a thesis published in a SCI/SCIE/SSCI or ESCI/EI international journal;
B. Attending an international academic conference and orally presenting a thesis in English;
C. Applying for and obtaining an invention patent relevant to his /her research (including a technical report reviewed and approved by the Institute at its meeting);
D. Using a R&D result with professional technology (which shall be reviewed and approved by the Institute at its meeting) to participate in a professional competition that has the review mechanism.
(2) English requirements: (Choose one of the three tests) A. IBT-TOEFL – 61 or more, TOEIC – 650 or more, or IELTS – 4 or more; B. Passing GEPT Intermediate test; C. Oral defense in English for Ph.D. dissertation
2. Students in the program of intelligent machinery and smart manufacturing must satisfy the minimum graduation conditions as follows:
Each student shall have at least one technical paper relevant to his /her research for Ph.D. degree published in an international journal, and also submit an application for an invention patent (including a technical report).
