1990:
The Department was permitted to establish the two-year junior college program in Distribution Management based on the strategic cooperation with Taiwan Chain Stores and Franchise Association. Students were accepted in Spring and Fall. Two classes were admitted for each season.
2001:
The two-year technical program provided by Department of Distribution Management, College of Continuing Education was established. Two classes were admitted.
2003:
The two-year junior college program by Department of Distribution Management was restructured to the four-year technical program by Department of Distribution Management. Two classes were admitted. The Graduate institute of Distribution Technology Management was established. The two-year junior college program provided by Department of Distribution Management in the Extension Junior College was established, and two classes were admitted.
2006:
The Graduate institute of Distribution Technology Management and Department of Distribution Management were combined. The master’s program in Distribution Management was therefore established, and the in-service master’s program was also established.
2012:
Based on the cooperation with enterprises, one class was set up for students in Extension Junior College.
2013:
Off-campus internship for master students were promoted.
2014:
Approved by Ministry of Education, the “Education-job Match and Talent Cultivation Program Provided by College of Industries” were subsidized for two years.
2015:
The “Program in Quality Control, Manufacturing, 3D Innovative Design and Smart Cloud Technology” project, prepared by College of Management, was subsidized by Ministry of Education. The Department participated in the “Program in Multimedia Smart Cloud Platform and Mobile Business” sub-project.
2016:
The practical course development project, the cross-disciplinary professional talent cultivation project, and the innovative manufacturing education project were subsidized by Ministry of Education.
2017:
The industry-academy project – New Age Distribution Industry Education-Job Match Talent Cultivation Program – was subsidized by Ministry of Education.
