The Goal
Foster students to become talents with multi-knowledge in cross-disciplinary cultural and creative industries.
As cultural creativity is built on accumulation of long-term cultural literacy, the Department not only has students possess basic knowledge and theories of literature, history, art, aesthetics and psychology, but also pays special attention to helping them develop good personalities, such as warmness, cooperation, service and responsibility, which are valuable in workplaces, in hopes that they can become the talents with multi-knowledge in cross-disciplinary cultural and creative industries.
1. Combine humanity, art and aesthetics to cultivate students to have professional abilities in cultural and creative design or (and) cultural and creative marketing.

Through the diversified courses concerning cultural and creative design and cultural and creative marketing, the Department cultivates students to possess multiple functions required in cultural and creative industries, and the ability to assist business owners in sustainable management.
2. Make students cultivate the abilities in integrating and using resources with respect to creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship.
Using basic theory courses as creative elements, we guide and enable students in the field of marketing to tell a good story that makes consumers intend to purchase. In the field of design, we enable students to use photographic equipment, graphic design software and digital music software flexibly to create works with cultural content. Finally, they will have the ability to integrate and use resources necessary for entrepreneurship.
