National Chin-Yi University of Technology, founded in 1971, is a school that has a beautiful story.

The two great old people, General Ming Chang and Ms. Kuo-Hsiu Wang, donated their educational institute worth up to NT$4 billion to the country and asked for nothing in return. Both of them, resting in Hawaii, have become a model for the exchange of eastern and western cultures.

Based on the spirit of selfless dedication, NCUT adopts “Diligence, Perseverance, Integrity and Simplicity” as its motto and create a lively, enthusiastic, positive and optimistic campus environment in subtropical Taiwan.

Department of Cultural and Creative Industries was prepared in 2004. In 2007, students were formally admitted to the Department. In 2014, it established the graduate institute. This small but complete department is located in the quietest corner of NCUT. This small white building has produced 450 students, each of whom has played an important role in the cultural and creative industries.
