Q1: If a water fountain is broken. Where should I report to ?

A: The water fountain in the public area is marked with a number and contact extension. If you find a water fountain broken, please call extension number at 2575-9 and describe its broken condition. The Center will immediately inform the water fountain company for repairs.


Q2: I am a new staff member and am not familiar with green procurement.  Where should I turn to for help?

A: The Center for Environmental Protection, and Health and Safety is responsible for green procurement. The Center annually promotes green procurement. The brief can be downloaded from the Educational Training/Center of the Environmental Protection, and Health and Safety website. Or you can call the Center at 2575-9 to discuss specifics.


Q3: How is an emergency report system installed?

A: (1) The University has set up multiple emergency report spots, including in the women’s restrooms, disability restrooms, elevators,      swimming pools, car and motorcycle parking lots, new campus light poles, the sidewalk outside Qingyong Building, etc.

    (2) Each public area in the University is installed with monitors. If an accident occurs, anyone can apply for access to surveillance cameras at the Center.


Q4: What should I do if I discover a beehive? 

A: Please report it to the Center for Environmental Protection, and Health and Safety at 2575-9 and keep a safe distance from the beehive. The Center will immediately set up a security cordon on the site and report to the Fire Department to help remove the beehive.
