Services

  • Scheduling and managing the confidential affairs of the President and Vice Presidents.
  • Drafting official correspondence and handling important communications on behalf of the President and Vice Presidents.
  • Preparing materials for University Council meetings, Administrative Council meetings, and University Development Committee meetings, as well as tracking and consolidating resolutions.
  • Facilitating communication and coordination among various departments on significant tasks.
  • Compiling the President’s oral report for the Legislative Yuan during the annual budget review.
  • Preparing administrative reports for inspections by the Legislative Yuan, Control Yuan, or the Ministry of Education.
  • Reviewing and approving all official documents of the University.
  • Handling and responding to feedback on university affairs.
  • Tracking progress of planning committees for major events such as the University Anniversary and Commencement, including guest invitations and reception.
  • Compiling and updating the University’s regulations and policies.
  • Implementing standardized procedures for administrative operations and promoting improvements to administrative proposals.
  • Assisting in the allocation and management of budgetary funds.
  • Conducting post-audit reviews of university fund utilization.
  • Executing internal control and audit operations.
  • Drafting and issuing press releases, maintaining media relations, and coordinating public relations matters.

Future Outlook

As a staff unit under the President’s directives, the Office of Secretaries is committed to coordinating the efforts of all departments. Beyond its routine responsibilities, the Office aims to:

  • Strengthen communication and coordination among departments to enhance service quality.
  • Improve the efficiency of internal and external feedback mechanisms to better serve faculty, students, alumni, and visitors.
  • Assist university units in implementing various subsidy and grant programs from the Ministry of Education.
  • Oversee and evaluate the progress of major projects to improve administrative performance and institutional effectiveness.
  • Promote standardized procedures for all administrative operations.
  • Advance the proposal improvement system to refine workflows, encourage innovation, and comprehensively enhance service quality.
  • Manage the University’s public image, employ practical marketing strategies, and increase institutional visibility.
