To cultivate students to be familiar with theories and technologies required in the machinery industry and become industrial talents who take their jobs seriously, think innovatively and have international perspectives, the Department has 32 teachers (or 35 teachers if supporting teachers are included) specializing in mechanical engineering who develop towards the fields of manufacturing, design and control based on their respective research interest. There are 11 to 13 professional full-time teachers for the courses relevant to each of these fields, sufficiently to effectuate the plans for the professional courses effectively and carry out the development objectives of the Department.
