1. Four-year program in Day Division

•  A student in the four-year program in Day Division shall acquire at least 138 credits before graduation. [102 credits for required courses, and at least 36 credits for elective courses (which shall contain at least 30 credits for the elective courses required by the Department)]
• Please comply with the “NCUT Regulations Governing Graduation Threshold of English Proficiency, Information Competency and Service Learning”.
• Please comply with the “Department’s Regulations for Graduation Threshold of Professional Licenses and Certificates”.
• Students admitted to the Department in the 2016 academic year and after are required to acquire a certificate of level C technician for refrigeration and air-conditioning installation and repair before graduation.
• For other relevant requirements, please refer to the curriculum plan provided by concerned divisions.

2. Graduate institute in Day Division

• A student shall acquire at least 34 credits, which consist of 6 credits for the required Thesis, 4 credits for the required Seminar, and at least 24 credits for elective courses. The elective courses taken by the student shall include 2 core elective courses.
• A student shall publish at least one thesis at a seminar.
• A student shall pass the oral examination of dissertation.

3. Four-year program in Division of Continuing and Extension Education

• A student in the four-year program in Night Division shall acquire at least 128 credits before graduation. [86 credits for required courses, and at least 42 credits for elective courses (which shall contain at least 30 credits for the elective courses required by the Department)]
• As for the graduation threshold of information competency, a student shall pass level C.

4. In-service master’s program

• A student shall acquire at least 34 credits, which consist of 6 credits for the required Thesis, 4 credits for the required Seminar, and at least 24 credits for elective courses.
• After passing the oral examination of dissertation, the student shall submit his /her dissertation for the master’s degree.

5. Industry-academy cooperation program in Division of Continuing and Extension Education

• A student in the industry-academy cooperation program shall acquire at least 128 credits before graduation. [92 credits for required courses, and at least 36 credits for professional elective courses] The student is also required to acquire a license or certificate of level B technician for refrigeration and air conditioning installation and repair.
• A student shall take the 28-credit basic training course provided by Taichung-Changhua-Nantou Regional Branch, Workforce Development Agency in the first academic year.

6. Two-year program in College of Continuing Education

• A student in the two-year program in College of Continuing Education shall acquire at least 72 credits before graduation. (28 credits for required courses, and 44 credits for elective courses)
