Core competencies involve the following:

1. Students will fulfill the minimum expertise requirements to become electrical engineers.

(1)Students will obtain language, mathematics, logic thinking, and communication skills.

(2)Students will acquire skills in disciplines related to electrical engineering.

 

2. Students will study theory and experimental validation.

(1)Students will learn to apply theory to practice.

(2)Students will learn to apply the skills acquired in class to R&D.

 

3. Students will acquire problem-solving skills.

(1)Students will gain a clear persperctive on industry development and learn to analyze technology trends.

(2)Students will be trained to overcome disadvantages of technology trends.

 

4. Students will gain experience and innovation ability.


(1)Students will learn about data aggregation for analysis, design, and system integration.

Graduate Program:

1. Students will learn research skills in the field of electrical engineering.

(1)Students will gain specialized knowledge in electrical engineering and related fields.

(2)Students will gain mathematical and vocabulary skills in their specialized research area.

 

2. Students will learn how to integrate theory with practice.

(1)Students will gain experience in integrating theory with practice and develop the professional skills required by their work through research.


(2)Students will gain the ability to criticize professional theory and research in their specialized field of study and transfer these critical skills to their work.

 

3. Students will learn about the reasons for research problems and how to analyze and solve them.

(1)Students will gain professional training and discernment, insight into the problem in industry, and the ability to analyze future trends.

(2)Students will gain the ability to integrate theory with research in order to find the most effective ways to solve practical work problems.

 

(3)Students will gain professional skills in the field of electrical engineering, including skills in design and R&D of new technology, as well as the ability to implement techniques that will improve practical procedural problems in their work.

 

4. Students will learn how to integrate knowledge of existing research and practical experience in order to make innovations in R&D.


(1)Students will gain the ability to use the computer, books, and the literature search system as tools for data collection, analysis, and criticism. In addition, they will accumulate experience in analysis, design, and system integration to  strengthen their professional ethics.

(2)Students will gain the ability to actively cultivate an intentional and dedicated research attitude and enrich their R&D innovation skills.

 

 

5.  Students will learn how to plan for their future careers.

(1)Students will gain the ability to perceive their aspirations and dispositional skills, and cultivate lifelong learning skills.

(2)Students will gain focused knowledge of electrical engineering research and will be able to balance their well-being and that of the society in their future careers.
